Policy<\/strong><\/p>

Police Divisional Commanders and Branch Officers may detail Police Officers working under their orders to perform extra duty in accordance with section 6(1) of the Police Act 1974.<\/p>

Only off-duty personnel will be detailed for this purpose.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

How to Apply\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Requests for extra duty are to be made in writing to Divisional Commanders\/Branch Officers, at least\u00a0seven days<\/strong>\u00a0prior to the date the services are required. In exceptional cases, a shorter delay may be entertained on a case-to-case basis.\u00a0\u00a0The application should mention the nature of duties to be performed, date, time and place.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

You may contact the Revenue desk at the Police Divisional Headquarters (DHQ) concerned, on weekdays during office hours between 0830 and 1630 hrs or on Saturday between 0830 and 1230 hrs.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

The total fees for extra duty services are payable, in advance, at the prescribed rate below.<\/p>

Administrative Fee and VAT<\/strong><\/p>

A 10% service charge on the total amount and 15% VAT will be added to the rate payable for extra duty.<\/p>

Note to Applicants<\/strong><\/p>
